The Goal - Create a viable self service loyalty solution


  • Increase the conversion rates of merchants who go live and publish their loyalty program.
  • Simplify the user experience, allowing merchants to plan and customize their programs without technical assistance.
  • Help merchants increase their customers' retention.


Research



First, by using data analysis, we checked how are merchants using our features.
Are most merchants choosing the same settings, or is there a diverse distribution of options?
Which settings are almost never used?
Are different client segments (MM/SMB/VSB) using the product in different ways?
Are the settings used differently by merchants on different e-commerce platforms?
Are using features in a way that doesn’t make sense?


Based on the data I collected, I created several sketches and tested the different options for the solution through usability testing with our customers.
